Same Wave is an inclusive and welcoming program that provides facilities, equipment and volunteers to assist people access the beach who may have additional needs or disability, and focuses on each person’s ability. Enjoyment, fun and individual achievement are the focus of the program for everyone involved.
Volunteers are integral to the successful running of our Same Wave programs and we welcome all members to help facilitate our program. A volunteer in-service and program outline is conducted each season.
Far South Branch has three Clubs that are host to the Same Wave Program which was developed by Michele and Peter Bootes from Pambula SLSC in 2000. The program has since grown to include over 70 clubs Nationally.
