MEMBER EDUCATION PATHWAYS
As a volunteer workplace, all members of a SLSC must be professionally trained, qualified, and prepared to perform the duties that their volunteer role requires of them.
All of our Far South Coast Branch Clubs support the education and development of its members. Each club have qualified Trainers/Assessors/Facilitators that assist in the delivery of the availably courses and are well supported by Branch and SLSNSW in providing the best opportunities for the professional development of their members.
Many of these pathways provide members with National Recognised Units of Competencies that not only allow them to undertake their role at club level but provide personal growth and opportunities outside of the volunteering service.
The chart provided outlines the Education Pathways available to all members within the Suef Lifesaving movement. You can find further information about each individual course on the Surf Lifesaving NSW website or by contacting your local Club.
