Batemans Bay SLSC

Malua Bay is the surfing beach for Batemans Bay and Canberra. It is visible from and lies just off George Bass Drive. Car parking is available next to the shops at the northern end, and on either side of the park that backs the entire beach. Broulee Surfers Surf Club is located on 6km-long Bengello Beach. The beach is accessible at the northern end where the surf club and its car park are situated. A gravel road runs south along the beach for 2km providing access as far as Waldron’s Creek which breaks out across the beach during floods. More…

On the south side of Moruya Heads, the beach sweeps to the south for 2.5km to a cuspate foreland (sand spit) at Pedro Point. Narooma Beach is the surf beach for the scenic and hilly coastal town of Narooma. The beach lies on the south side of Wagonga Heads, and runs south for 750m to a low rocky headland, which is home to Narooma Cemetery. Tathra Beach extends south from the mouth of the Bega River (Mogareka Inlet) turning south-east in lee of Tathra Head.
