Lifesaving

Surf Lifesaving Australia is the peak coastal water safety, drowning prevention and rescue organisation across Australia.  FSC Branch has seven clubs and we provide emergency call out services from Batemans Bay to the Victorian Border:

Our volunteers patrol beaches across the Eurobodalla and Bega Valley Shires on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from October through to April. We also provide emergency call out services outside patrol hours.

Patrol teams are made up of members from 13 years upwards and they bring a variety of strengths and skill sets to the team. There’s something for everyone and a way for all to be involved so please get in touch

You can easily tell when a beach is patrolled as you’ll see the red and yellow flags posted in the sand.  Remember to swim between the flags because “if we can’t see you, we can’t save you.”
